Speed & Agility Training

Our Speed, Agility, and Conditioning (SAC) class is a designed training program specifically aimed at improving each athlete’s Acceleration, Deceleration and Change of Direction skills. With a focus on fundatmental techniques our athletes will see improvement in their Explosiveness, Linear Speed, Reaction Time (Visual and Auditory), and Lateral Quickness. Why train an athlete to run fast forward when the game is played in multiple directions?

Strength Training

Strength development training with Coliseum Athletics consists of a Foundational Strength Development phase and an Advanced Strength Development phase. All geared towards ensuring injury prevention, muscular balance, and performance enhancement. In the first phase our athletes will be introduced to the fundamental loading patterns and will develop a solid foundation of strength, mobility, and athleticism on which we can build the complete warrior.

In the second phase more advanced strength development programming and overload principles are introduced. This includes conventional weight lifting, olympic lifts, and plyometric exercises.

General Fitness

No you don't have to be an athlete to become a Coliseum Athletics warrior! You just have to have that hunger to want be healthier. General fitness training focuses on the body's overall flexibility, strength, and conditioning. At this level, we're not here to make you into an olympic athlete, but we are here to give you that continuous motivation you need to keep you wanting more! 

A good training program will get you in shape so you have more energy for daily life and a higher threshold for stress.

Coliseum Athletics now provides expert physiotherapy to support our athletes with injury prevention, rehabilitation, and long-term performance. Our collaboration with a clinical practitioner bridges the clinical treatment with sport specific strength, mobility, and conditioning to help our athletes recover stronger and stay injury free.
