Allow me to reintroduce myself…

The names Willie Williams aka Willy Snypes, and I’m the founder of Coliseum Athletics.

Born in Queens, New York and raised in South Florida, I competed in sports such as track & field, football, Roman Greco wrestling, and baseball.

Post secondary I played 1 year of college football at Youngstown State University and 2 years with the University of Calgary Dinos. After playing college football I went on to finish my personal training certification and graduated from the University of Alberta with my Occupational Health and Safety diploma.

Skills & Drills Coach

Tre Wright, known in the Calgary athletic community as Coach OT, is the newest member to our Coliseum Athletics family. 

Born and raised in Calgary-AB, Coach OT excelled as a multi-sport athlete gaining early recognition in high school for his talents in club soccer, basketball, track & field, and football to name a few.

After playing 3yrs of football with the CJFL Calgary Colts, Coach OT received a full athletic scholarship to continue his love for the game with the Saint Mary’s University Huskies. Coach OT graduated with a Bachelor in Arts, Major in Sociology, Minor in Business and continues to give back through volunteer work in the community.

Zachary Barfuss

Zach Barfuss

Physiotherapist | Sports Performance & Rehab Specialist

Zachary Barfuss is a skilled physiotherapist with a passion for helping athletes return to peak performance. He holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Zach's evidence-based approach combines with education, manual therapy, and progressive exercise to support recovery, prevent re-injury, and build long term strength and resilience.

Originally from Airdrie, Alberta, Zach grew up immersed in sports - competing in basketball, volleyball, baseball, and track & field throughout high school. His firsthand experience with sports injuries led him to physiotherapy, both as a patient and ultimately as a professional. His coaching background in high school and club volleyball, baseball, and basketball gives him a unique perspective on athletic development and rehabilitation.

-Certified in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) for neuromuscular pain and dysfunction

-Specialized training in the assessment and treatment of ACL injuries

-Advanced coursework in collaboration with strength and conditioning coaches focused on: Speed & Agility, Coordination, and Strength and power training for return-to-sport

Zach's mission is to support athletes of all levels, helping them not only recover from injury but come back stronger, faster, and more confident than before. Which is why Zach is a perfect fit for Coliseum Athletics!
